The European Robotics Forum, the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe, will be held in Bucharest, Romania, in March 2019, with over 900 European robotics top experts expected to attended the 10th edition of the conference.
The European Robotics Forum 2019 (#ERF2019) will place at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel on 20 – 22 March 2019. It will host a major exhibition where companies, universities and research institutes showcased the most advanced European prototypes, products, services and projects funded under EU’s Horizon 2020 research programme.
The ERF brings together the entire European Community – researchers, industry, policy-makers from EU institutions – being organized by the PPP Spark (formed by euRobotics and the European Commission), to discuss both technical and social aspects of robotics and AI).
On Friday the 22nd, Andrea Bertolini, Director and Scientific Coordinator of EURA, and as leading member of the INBOTS H2020 project, will host a workshop on “Alterantive Approaches to Liability in Robotics”. The workshop, of the overall duration of 1,5 hours, will se the brief presentations by the invited speakers – Mr Jacob Turner, from Fountain Court Chamber, London, and Dr Asygul Bugra, from Koc University Law School, Instanbul – with 45 minutes of roundtabel and debate, with questions from the audience and from Andrea.
