In the EURA Jean Monnet Center of Excellence on the Regulation of Robotics & AI Workshop series, experts from the most diverse fields are invited to present their most advanced research, encouraging participants to discuss topics on the forefront of the debate on the regulation of robotics and AI.
The first seminar will take place Wednesday 27th April 2022, h. 2.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. online HERE.
The invited speaker is Simone Natale, Associate Professor at the University of Turin, Italy, and a Visiting Fellow at Loughborough University, UK. He will present his recent monography, entitled “Deceitful media: artificial intelligence and social life after the Turing test”. The focus of the seminar is on the ability AI has to act on human vulnerability to deception, exploiting our tendency to connect and interfering with our perception of reality and ourselves.
After the presentation of the monography by the invited speaker, the seminar includes a discussion with the participants on the debated topics.
