We are pleased to announce that the Dirpolis Institute of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies of Pisa has opened registration for the 4th edition of the Course “The Regulation of Robotics & AI in Europe: Legal, Ethical and Economic Implications”.

The Summer School will be held in Pisa, from the 4th of July 2022 to the 9th of July 2022, for a total of 40 hours. The possibility of online participation is reserved for those who are unable to travel and attend the Course on site, due to the Covid-19 situation. The latest option will be granted at the discretion of the Scientific Director.
The Course aims to provide international students, policy makers, and professionals from different backgrounds with interdisciplinary skills, useful to understand issues posed by the development and diffusion of robotics in EU, and with an advanced understanding of the European framework of robotics and AI technologies. At the end of the Summer School, participants will have the necessary knowledge to: (i) design robots/provide advice to businesses, ensuring compliance with current legislation, techno-ethical standards, social acceptability, and the Charter of Fundamental Rights; (ii) develop risk management strategies and entrepreneurship models; (iii) define new EU policies on these matters.
